I’m a journalist, and writing instructor at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. I teach classes about Writing and Yoga, as well as how authors can use social media to build their platform. My work’s appeared in the Washington Post Health and Style sections, MediaPost, and Brain,Child magazine.
I also present at conferences on topics involving moms and identities, and how to best connect with a mom demographic online. For more information about that, please see my Upcoming Conferences page.
I’m working on a non-fiction book about ways moms maintain their musical identities after having children, and the role music plays in parenting. If you’d like to be interviewed, please contact me.
In other projects, Rock and Roll Mama is a book baby- my first novel. It’s about a woman who loses her identity to her husband’s musical career and regains it by starring in a reality show. But at what cost?
