I’m a journalist, and occasional writing instructor at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. My work’s appeared in the Washington Post Health and Style sections, and Brain,Child magazine.

I’m working on a non-fiction book about ways moms maintain their musical identities after having children, and the role music plays in parenting. If you’d like to be interviewed, please contact me.

In other projects, Rock and Roll Mama is a book baby- my first novel. It’s about a woman who loses her identity to her husband’s musical career and regains it by starring in a reality show. But at what cost?
