We’re fixin’ to send out a posse!

Hey, y’all. I’m Ri from Music Savvy Mom, and I’m hijacking Rock and Roll Mama’s blog for today.

So…um.  STICK ‘EM UP!

(I’m totally kidding.  You can relax…you should have seen your face, though.  Classic!  Bwahaha!)

I swear, immediately after hitting Bonaroo for “The Great Rock and Roll Mama Camp Out of 2010″,  Lindsay took off to traverse the glorious American West (specifically, Wyoming and Utah) and has left us – her loyal readers – to  worry and wonder.  What would we DO if she’d been eaten by wolves, had fallen into a ravine or perhaps was carried off by a twister!?!

I mean, seriously.  They don’t call it “The Wild West” for nothing. These things happen!  I’m just sayin’…

Oh, I know we’ve had the occasional tweet, but that’s not the same as arriving here at the blog and seeing that a fresh, new piece of Lindsay awesomeness has been posted.  So I texted her to light a fire under her derriere sweetly inquire how things in “vacation avec conference” land were going.  She said that aside from being forced by the young’uns to listen to the Glee Soundtrack ad nauseum, she was having a blast and will be back with us soon.

*whew*

Because it’s what I do, I’ve made a little playlist for her (and for us) to fill in the space. Given her current Western ramblings and the tumbleweeds rolling around in here -  it’s themed.  Seemed appropriate.
