I’m in Austin for my 2nd SXSW IA. Last year, it was huge and overwhelming and great. I wanted to have something to offer, but I wasn’t sure what it was. This year, I feel like all we all have to offer is our take on what’s going on in this amazing digital space, and how to navigate it.

I sat next to two college younguns from PRSSA (a great student public relations group) on the plane from Nashville. We geeked out, chatting out best practices and disclosure and etc., etc. And it occurs to me. I don’t know exactly what you’d call this thing that we do here on the internet- but I know that I love it, and I’m passionate about all the ways it can influence our lives.

So I want to know: How bout you? Whatcha doing? Whatcha working on? And most importantly, where do you want to be in a year?

Good question! It is so important to think ahead and focus on what you want and I have been doing a lot of that lately. Trying to get rid of what doesn’t work and keep what does.

I want to build my PR and copywriting business to help small businesses promote themselves via traditional media and social media…and grow my baby, Tiki Tiki BlogThe Tiki Tiki Blog into a big and profitable space.

2010-2011 is going to be good.

Hi! I just wanted to thank you for stopping by my website back when I was in Houston for Mom 2.0 and commenting. Sorry I didn’t have a chance to stop by and do an interview with you, I was volunteering for the summit and had to interviews too. After I attended Mom 2.0, I have a better vision what I’m getting myself into.

I didn’t start as a blogger, but now that I understand this space a little better, I know that there is so much room for all of us to grow, and to collaborate.

Right now I’m working on building other sites and blogs, and actually working on offering brand consulting from a not so uptight and stuffy corporate perspective. Many great thing to come, this year.

This time next year, I plan to be making a full time income for not only myself, but with my husband, so that we can both stay at home with our daughter.

I live in Austin, so if you’d like to meet for some coffee or have some free time for lunch, that’d rock!
