Let it snow, for reals, y’all.

We’re having the biggest blizzard since 1978. It’s pretty spectacular- 23 hours of snow without cease. It was very nice to not have to go anywhere, just be in the house all five and know that wherever we had considered going was out of the question. I like it when Mother Nature Puts the kibosh on Holiday Madness and says “Hang Out!”

So we did. The Christmas tree is up, decorated, and we’ve been eating ham like it’s New Year’s Eve.

Here’s what it looks like at my house:

"eating ham like it's New Year's Eve." I don't know how, but I am GOING to work that into the fabric of all my conversations from now on. I love it.

Wow! We had our biggest snow in many years too! But ours was probably about 2 inches. :) That's TEXAS for you, everything is big except for snow. hehehe Glad you were prepared. Can't imagine being stuck if you had not been to the grocery store in awhile. Have fun with the family and enjoy! Merry Christmas! Looking forward to 2010! Cammie

That is just awesome! I remember getting snowed in in New Mexico one year. We watched the weather reports every hour. The storm just sat on us. We finally gave in to it, called everyone back home to let them know we wouldn't be coming in as planned, and then just hung out. I love Mother Nature! .-= Sugar Jones´s last blog ..Wrapping It All Up =-.
