Little Dragon, “Twice”

Well, hello there. I’ve missed you. We’ve been hunkering down here in the land of swine flu and husbands in Europe.

But now, things are picking up…the hubs is back, and we’re all heading to Disney for a week. It may rain the whole week. And you know what?

I. Do Not. Care. Nope, not one bit.

Because I will not be the only grownup.

I was drunk with freedom Dan’s first day home, wandering through the Plow and Hearth alone like a Neanderthal dropped into a Crate and Barrel. “Ooooooh- shiny pinecone wreath! What for, this?” I would ask, much to the consternation of the saleslady.

But I didn’t have to YELL AT ANYBODY, and if anybody TOUCHED anything, it was SO not on me. Oh, it felt nice to be irresponsible for a few hours. So much so that I bought an obscene amount of organic turkish bath towels on sale and came home after dark.

That’s right. You heard me. After. Dark.

With Bath Towels. Organic!

MAN, I am so rock and roll.
