“Barbie, Eat a Sandwich” Go, Care Bears on Fire!

Let me borrow a page from our Maryland boys at Good Charlotte: “For everyone who got picked last for a team…for everyone who ever got free lunch…”
Yep. At last we got ourselves a girl underdog Anthem.
These lovely girl rockers from Brooklyn, Care Bears on Fire, bring it home with “Barbie, Eat a Sandwich.” I Can’t wait till E’s ready to move on from Hannah Montana and face the reality, that we don’t come from Barbie stock. When she does, I’ll be waiting with this queued up.
Check em out- not yet legal to drive, but soooooo legal to Rock.:)

Interestingly, my daughter doesn’t seem aware in any way, shape, or form of the Barbie ideal. Maybe she is and she’s hiding it from me, since I’m so far from modeling it. I don’t know.
btw, the Tour Manager tried to make me eat potatoes for dinner tonight. I thought of you. Got any emergency Tater Tots?

CBOF rule. My daughter has wafted all dream like out of the Hannah/Miley phase after seeing her less than impressive live show. I explained that real concerts make you deaf and blow you out of your seat right on to your pre teen ass. Then I unveiled twenty years of ticket stubs and concert tees amassed over a lifetime. She was flabberghasted. Lastest show–Pixies…..
