This is that crazy kind of week where we’re getting ready to hit the beach and prep the kids for back to school at the same time. So yes, as all you mamas out there know, it’s mayhem. But here’s a few things I found that I love and wanted to show you:
Created by Amy of Jefita’s HodgePodge, over at Etsy. How adorable is this? Sadly, someone snapped her up (No, it wasn’t me- I was too slow!) But she has many other lovely plushies. So, for all of us who feel like curling up in the fetal position at all this back to school ruckus, here ya go.
Love this- created by Montreal’s Yellow Bird Project . Cost: $10, and proceeds go to supporting Indie Music. Here’s a few deets from their website:
“With over 25 hand-illustrated designs dedicated to indie and YBP musicians, including Iron & Wine, Bloc Party, The National and Devendra Banhart, this book is a sure fire pleaser. Oh and no rules here, we even encourage you stay outside the lines!”
Maybe it can keep those little ruckuses entertained whilst I try to find the ever growing list of items on their back to school list.:)
Thanks to the always awesome ClumberKim for showing it to me on Twitter!
Hope all your days are filled with sanity, or, at the very least, lots and lots of iced espresso drinks.

I'm going to have to blog about this, too. It's right up my alley. Go figure...
btw, I'm excited for back-to-school. So're the kids. We're geeks over here; school rocks. Or maybe we're just all sick of each other and eager to see other faces.
Yeah, most likely the latter.
