Happy Monday! (There’s an old school band for you.:)

Because it is a popping off deadliney kind of week, and because there are folks writing some awesome music posts, I’m going to share some of them with you today.

The first is from my homegirl Jessica Smith- she’s leaving the East Coast and mid-morning playground dates to move to the West Coast and be a VP for Fleishman- still wrapping my brain around it. Help her make a mix tape to transition-

The second is a general welcome Howdy Do to the awesome Music Savvy Mom- (AKA Ri, AKA Teh Rawk) an intrepid music blogger after my own heart- check her out and send her some shuffles! And if you Blip, she’s a must follow.

What are y’all listening to these days? I have White Rabbits on repeat pretty much all day.

Well, I followed Tiffani’s link to Music Savvy Mom, and now I am hooked! I will be submitting a shuffle here soon, and can’t wait to see what everyone else is listening to!

As for what I’ve been listening to, I’ve been in a (don’t laugh!) hair band mood since this weekend when I stopped the dial on Metal Mania on Vh1 Classics.

Sugar- that’s awesome, Salt and Pepa has now been in my head for 4 hours. You are bad, girl.

Ri- That’s a lovely mix, dahling- Jessica and I always joke about how she’s not a music girl- the only music advice she’s ever taken from me is when I sent her the Smirnoff “Tea Partay” video- then we sang it for 3 weeks straight. “Tea in the pahlah makes the ladies holla…” if you haven’t seen it, run to YouTube Right. Now!!!

Kim- That’s how I found MSM too! Go Tiffani! She does rock, that one. As do you.:) And the hair metal=the awesome. That makes me want to sing “Remember yesterday- walking hand in hand-” etc. etc. Love some old school hair metal.
