I was driving with J, my 12 year old, listening to the XM alt station (our standard fare) when a song grabbed our ear with a chattering bassline that just doesn’t let up. I was intrigued enough to come home and check out the band, White Rabbits. They’re now in heavy rotation.

According to Wikipedia, White Rabbits originated in Columbia, Missouri, but now live in Brooklyn. (When not on tour, which sounds like not often right now.:) The members:
* Alexander Even – guitar
* Brian Betancourt – bass
* Matthew Clark – drums
* Jamie Levinson – drums
* Gregory Roberts – vocals, guitar
* Stephen Patterson – vocals, piano
“It’s Frightening” is their second studio album, and their first for the label, TBD- home of Radiohead.

I am running out the door for a friend’s book release party- (Yeah Beth Harbison!) but will be back tomorrow to catch up on the Holiday weekend- hope yours was great!
