I’m a fellow addict so I was happy when I saw this news too. For me personally it’s a little better since I’m not working in Manhattan right now – that’s a dangerous place for an addict since there’s at least one Starbucks on every block. But the NYC stores are also a bit of a buzzkill now that there’s a new law requiring them to display the calorie count on all of their food items. I want to enjoy my toffee almond bar in denial, please!

I must admit hubby was SO excited to hear this too! We are semi-Starbuckaholics(ok we definitely are). The problem is we were a little cautious of what was in the treats. DH is way better and letting me know what is in foods and whether or not kiddo should have a bite. Honestly, I do not see a difference in my son but daddy swears the dye makes him “different”.

Thanks for the post and cheers{raising Starbucks cup} to better choices made by Starbucks!

Girl, you know I can relate! My kids and their allergies mean they pretty much ALWAYS assume they can’t have anything (they’re allergic to corn, so def no HFCS for them).

Great story! My sister works there and told me about the food updates. She’s really irked, though, cause the toffee crunch bar (or whatever it was called) is gone. She’s been eating it for around 12-13+ years.

I’m not a coffee drinker, but I LOVE SBux. You simply must see what I got for my birthday last year. Sounds like you need one of these.

I really need to do better with what we eat. That is good to know! And there is a Starbucks in my store – I shall try to visit it a bit more often and bring home some goodies for my teens every now and then.
