Next Tuesday, June 16th, I have the privilege of presenting a panel, with @Audreymcclellan and @jessicagottlieb, about Moms Using Twitter, at @JeffPulver’s 140Conf#. I love Jessica’s and Audrey’s insights on and offline, and am so excited to hear more of their perspectives.
Jeff is one my favorite people in social media. He routinely puts his extremely agile brain and good heart to work connecting others around the world, while being a true student of what those connections mean.
The chance to represent moms, and how we engage in 140 characters or less, is really neat. But we want to do it accurately. I’m anxious to hear your voices. Why you talk to hundreds (or thousands!) of strangers every day. What do you get from them? What do you give? How or why do you market your business there?
And, most essentially, what does Twitter have that makes moms flock to it? It’s clearly a community of value to us: Why? And what do we add to it?
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. @one of us on Twitter,l eave a comment, whatever works: but tell us “Why Twitter for Moms?” I’ll be compiling a list of insights gathered here and on Twitter from you: please be sure to leave your @Twittername so we can give you a shout out. Thanks for making Twitter my virtual water cooler, sounding board, and networking place all in one.
