If you’re a person who loves music, you may end up with a basement that looks like mine: floor to ceiling milkcrates of those old dinosaurs, CDs. Most of them are my husband’s ( I tend to be less careful with mine- I load them into my laptop, then hurl them willy nilly around the minivan till they’re sufficiently unplayable.)
Not only is it a bulky habit, it’s expensive. Which is why I’ve been so enamored of Pandora since I first discovered it last year. It’s a free online radio station that develops stations based on artists you’ve entered, as well as recommending others based on your choices.
Pandora’s teamed up with Energizer to offer another way to geek out about music- an online forum with topics ranging from Rock Band vs. Guitar Hero to The Future or Music. So stop by, hang out- maybe discover a new band to fall in love with.
So cut the clutter in the New Year- Leave a comment on this post telling me the band you fiended for the most in 2008- they could be new, or just new to you. I’m giving away $20 Itunes giftcards to three randomly selected people. I’ll do the drawing on the 26th, in case you didn’t get the present you want for the holidays.:)
