Hey! I’m back from the land of Virginia, where I hung out in a cavern (spooky), floated down a real river on an inner tube, and spent some time on a fake lazy river at one of those crazy water park places. Crazy water park places are like BHJ’s master planned community Pool of Liquid Blogging Gold on acid. Sooo trippy and chlorinated.
I will confess to being slightly brain-dead, so it’s lucky for me that Momma’s Tantrum tagged me for a meme today. I’m new to memes, so if I do it all wrong, don’t tell me.
Here goes:
Six Random Things about me
I make my Grandmother’s blueberry muffins from scratch from memory. A little too often in the summer. (She lived on a blueberry farm, so it was ingrained at a young age.)
I was adopted as a baby, and my birth name was Madeline, after the little French girl in the books.
Lindsay is my Mom’s (the one who raised me, my regular mom’s) maiden name.
I think that Lost is not a TV show, but a true alternate universe occurring somewhere that just happens to have a really well edited feed to my telly. How can they not be real?
My favorite chocolate in the whooole world is Joel Durand’s Black Chocolate with Szchewan pepper, followed closely by his Earl Grey chocolate. Mmmm. (He’s in San Remy, so once a year I pay ridiculous shipping for it. Cheaper than going to France, right?)
I didn’t understand the concept of alphabetization until like, 5th grade, cause I’m kind of slow like that. Order? Did not make sense to me. So I’d put my spelling words grouped by first letter, and be all, “THERE! Done.”
So nice to be back with my blog/Twitter peeps, skulking on the deck with the laptop no more. Thanks again to my lovely guest posters..you’re the best.
