But I think most parents do, at least to some extent. But I knew they'd be changing once they started growing up. I just wanted to be sure they had a good foundation to build on in the hopes that no matter what they liked later, we'd always have some common musical interests. We are in the car together a lot! @Myra: Thank you! And that's great :) When mine were those ages, I loved giving in to what they wanted to hear because I knew it was always something awesome. And how can you not groove to Widespread Panic? Nowadays, I never know what I will get when I let them have a turn at the radio dial or slide a cd in. Sometimes I like it and discover something new, sometimes it's something we all love, and sometimes it's something I hate that feels like torture to hear.
